Description:
Animal Health International is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Sturgis, SD.

Duties:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Transact all business in accordance to Animal Health International Inc.'s business code of ethics and conduct
Oversee the process of checking incoming product, completing paperwork, and entering receipt of product into computer system
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse
Promote a dependable line of communication between warehouse personnel and all other departments
Establish operational procedures
Direct, plan, and route delivery trucks
Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepare work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment
Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
Direct salvage of damaged or used material
Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Solid industry knowledge and overall warehouse operations, responsibilities, experience, time management and expectations to allow for minimal supervision
High level warehouse equipment/machinery operating skills
Excellent problem solving skills to identify, analyze and recommend solutions with the ability to lead, communicate and transfer knowledge to others
Knowledge in all areas concerned with the distribution business
Proven ability to meet deadlines, cutoffs and budgetary requirements
Solid organizational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and supervision skills
Solid computer skills with various applications
Education or Formal Training:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of Warehouse/Operations experience
