Shop Mechanic Delivery DriverPosition Description:
The Mechanic CDL Fuel and Tire Delivery Driver is responsible for trouble shooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximize reliability and functionality.
An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
They must also be good communicators to provide advice to customers.
As CDL Delivery Driver of feed, seed, propane and Refined Fuel products in a safe and efficient manner to agricultural, commercial, residential and consumer end users.
Drivers are responsible for completing all assigned duties in accordance with company policies, as well as federal, state and local regulations.
This position will report to the Location Manager.
Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to perform a combination of the following duties during 95% of work day/shift.

Demonstrate attention to detail, able to make good judgements quickly and the ability to multi-task.

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.
) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.
g.
leaks).
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
Keep logs on work and issues.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Loads, secures, transports, delivers to and from specific locations.
Inspects vehicle and notify supervisor of any needed equipment, supplies or maintenance.
Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company policy.
Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer inquiries about product or service.
Preform all duties in accordance to safety rules and company policies.
Demonstrate ongoing communication with all levels of the company to enhance teamwork and effectiveness in alignment with company goals.
Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.
Must possess a clean driving record Must pass a background check and drug screening Class A CDL License Air Brake, Tanker, Hazmat endorsements CDL driving experience Excellent written and verbal communications skills This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
